After a lovely, quiet night at anchor, we swanned around through most of the morning, enjoying the nice weather. We finally got the anchor up about 11:15 and motored out into Seaforth Channel, into a slight westerly breeze, where we turned WNW until we reached the southern entrance to Reid Passage, to the east of Ivory Island. From there, Reid Passage leads NNE between Cecilia Island and a long peninsula of the mainland. Toward the north end of Cecilia Island, an east-west trending fault nearly cuts the island asunder, creating Boat Inlet, where we anchored at 14:00. After anchoring, we spent the afternoon exploring the upper reaches of the inlet in kayaks and dinghies.
