Up early to move over to Queen Charlotte City, we pulled out of our slip in Sandspit at 08:00 and were tied up in a slip in QCI at 09:45. After a quick oil and filter change, an engine electrician had a look at our 12V system; he found a fault with the smart regulator, which we replaced with a spare. This cured our previously unexplained loss of amps. After a few other boat chores, we all went to dinner at Oceania, a nice mix of Asian, Indian and Oriental food - very nice.

On the 25th, we hired a 15-seat van, loaded up the wives and kids and drove up to Tlell and Masset, at the north end of Graham Island, including a run to Tow Hill, where, along with enjoying the sights, we had an excellent gravel fight amongst the boys. Interesting countryside en-route and the museum at Tlell is worth a 2nd visit. We had dinner in Masset; totally forgettable.

The next day, we went back to Tlell and then spent the best part of the day at the cultural center in Skidegate, where First Nations' artists are working on three large, traditional totem poles. We also visited the excellent museum. Dinner again at Oceania; excellent day.
