We caught 1 crab overnight; not much meat, when split 8 ways. Weather forecast good, although we received a message from PR CGR to call my brother-in-law; but nothing urgent. We got underway about 10:45 (the engine started fine after 30 seconds of glow plug warm-up and 16 seconds of cranking - plus a nice spray of ether) and headed south down the Louise Narrows. About 12:30, a black bear swam across the channel about 200 yards in front of us. Once through the narrow, we hoisted the main and the #2 jib and headed south and east down Selwyn Inlet. We turned into Logan Inlet, entered Gwaii Hanaas Park (officially) and continued on to Anna Inlet, where we anchored for the night.

Anna Inlet is lovely, so we decided to take a day off of traveling. We climbed up the steep trail to the lake NW of the anchorage - a hard 45 minute climb. The lake at the top of the climb was beautiful, but too cold for swimming. After we got back to the boat, we had another water balloon fight with the kids.
