Today, we are headed for Titusville, about 35 miles up the ICW (or Indian River). We slept in and got away about 09:00. After an uneventful trip up the ICW, punctuated only by the appearance of the NASA Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) off in the distance - it is HUGE! - we arrived at Titusville and checked into the city marina, where we pumped out the holding tanks and took a mooring ball for the night. Just after we tied up to the mooring ball, thunderstorms sprung up all around us; for a while we had thunder and lightning all around us and a couple of water spouts in sight - we thought we were going to catch hell. But, in the end, all we got was a good pyrotechnic show and a bit of rain. We heated up leftovers and had a nice meal out in the cockpit and early to bed.
