We were up early (for us), got the hook up and motored the 3.5 miles to Harbour Village Marina. We got into the slip with help from the neighbors, and immediately started stripping down the boat. Cleaned the scum and barnacles off the bottom of the dinghy and the kayaks, pulled the genoa down and flaked it and packed it. We picked up a rental car in the afternoon and went to the UPS store to send the genoa to JSI in St. Petersburg, FL, but the UPS store was closed by the time we got there. So, back to the boat for cocktails and dinner (last of the real food). After dinner, I stripped out the genoa roller furling line, spinnaker halyard, pole lift, main sheet and traveller lines and left messenger lines in their place (this will remove them from solar degradation.

Back at it straightaway after breakfast. Deflated and rolled up the dinghy; it is lashed down inside a tarp on the foredeck in front of the bicycles. Deflated and rolled up the Hobie kayak; it is stored in the starboard cockpit locker, along with the gasoline and diesel jerry cans (all empty, of course). I managed to stuff the spinnaker on top of this lot. I changed the oil, oil filter and fuel filter on the main engine as well as the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, and fuel/water separator filter element on the generator; impellers appear to be in good shape. We also winterized the generator by pouring non-toxic anti-freeze in the raw water strainer and running the engine for a few seconds (I was unable to pull the raw water inlet hose off of the inlet block valve). We emptied both water tanks and poured in 1.5 - 2 gallons of anti-freeze in both and flushed this through all of the water pipes (after first bypassing the hot water heater). After a late shower and a couple of Advil, we drove into town for a quick meal at Zoe’s Kitchen.
