Up early to catch the tide; high water at 7:40. Good to be on the go again. We motored past Savannah, passing the 32nd parallel early, crossed the Savannah River and entered South Carolina, through Fields Cut, along the Wright River, through Walls Cut, up the New River, along Ramsford Creek and then up the Cooper River to an anchorage about a mile away from the ICW, arriving just after noon. We ran aground looking for room to anchor, but got off without too much trouble. Terri was not feeling well, so she slept most of the afternoon and I read. Thunderstorms to the west all afternoon, but nothing too near. We got a bit of rain in the middle of the night.
