Nice and cool last night, so we slept well without the AC. It was clear and pleasant in the morning. We had showers after breakfast and then made a quick run to Ace Hardware for a new French press coffee maker; the last one was about worn out. After checking out from the marina, we got away from the dock at 10:30, and motored stately past historic Fort McHenry, the Francis Scott Key Memorial Buoy and under the Francis Scott Key Bridge across the Patapsco River. The winds were generally NE, but flukey, so we motored most of the way to Worton Creek, where we anchored about 15:00. We lazed around the boat and cleaned up a few black spots and mildew. By dark, there were 4 other sail boats sharing the anchorage, although there is plenty of room. Dinner aboard included fresh corn on the cob; yum, yum.
