Research last night identified a Virginia winery - Jacey Vineyard - accessible by boat off Mill Creek, so we left early to pay them a visit. We filled up with diesel at Ingram Bay Marina and then anchored in Mill Creek just after noon and made it to the vineyard about 13:30. Without further ado, we ordered tapas for lunch and started into the wine tasting. The vineyard had a few good wines of their own, plus an excellent Tempranillo import, so we bought a whole case: 4 Tempranillos, 1 Malbec, 3 Pinot Verdots, 2 Albarinos and 2 other whites, whose name I cannot recall just now - altogether an excellent afternoon. We got back to the boat shortly before the afternoon thunderstorm descended upon us, this time with not much thunder and lightning, but lots of rain, followed by a beautiful rainbow. The rain cooled things off and we slept like babies.
