We awoke to very light rain, but got up and got ready to go anyway. We pulled away from the dock at 08:30. The wind was very light, so we motored all the way to Evanston (north side of Chicago) with the main up to minimize the roll. It was hazy, so we could not see the Chicago skyline until we were nearly at the harbor. We tied up at Montrose Harbor marina at 12:30. After lunch, we went grocery shopping (again - are you seeing a trend here?), then came back to the boat and dropped and flaked the jib. We head to Skyway Marine in Calumet early tomorrow to get ready to unstep the mast (presently scheduled for Thursday, 21 Sep). Happy hour and dinner (lamb chops) aboard.
