We slept in a bit, but awoke to a gorgeous morning. After breakfast, we got under way at 10:30 and headed up Moses Inlet. The wind was S to SW, so we sailed almost all the way to the head of Moses Inlet, where we tied up the the logging camp dock at 14:40, at the invitation of the manager, Donovan, who we had met in Dawson’s Landing. We thanked him with a couple of bottles of wine and a taste of planning fluid. After dinner, the kids went to “Massilia” with Laurie and played a game of Settlers of Catan, while John, The Admiral and I chatted with Donovan. This is the northernmost point of our 2018 adventure.

The kids want to stay here for a day and try their luck at fishing. About 09:45, the camp manager said we would need to move off the dock so the float plane could tie-up for a crew change, so we moved over to the nearby floating barge/mooring to wait. I ran the generator for a couple of hours to recharge the batteries. We moved back to the dock about 14:00. The Admirals went out kayaking and the kids took the dinghies up into the estuary. I went for a swim and checked out the prop-zinc; still good. We also topped up the water tanks with good fresh water direct from the stream. Dinner aboard - chili and pasta.
