It was cool and clear when we awoke about 08:00. Again, the bears did not come down to the beach for breakfast. We had the anchor up just at 09:55 and motored out of Call Inlet, west through Chatham Channel, with the tidal flow behind us. At the west end of the channel, we took the short-cut south of Minstrel Island through the Blow Hole, which is a bit shallow and narrow, but no bother for master mariners like us. Then, we turned west again down Clio Channel and finally into Potts Lagoon, where we anchored just after noon. This is a funky little spot with a number of house boats permanently anchored here. We spent the afternoon lazing about the boat, doing a few chores; I added a one foot long pennant at the bottom of the jib and pulled it the same amount up the forestay, to see if that will give us a better sheeting angle and also let us see under the sail. The Admirals took the kayaks deeper into the lagoon, which dries at low water, to observe the wildlife. I set a crab trap out after dinner
