We slept 10 hours again last night; just about recovered from our whirlwind visit from Luke and Tessie. Having nothing much to do until time to head for Bainbridge Island, we did that. About 10:30, we finally bestirred ourselves to start the engine and drop the mooring ball. Eagle Harbor was only seven miles away and the wind being very light, we motored the whole way, tying up at Harbour Marina at 11:50. We had a quick lunch at Harbour Pub, then walked to the Town & Country Market to top up on groceries. Back to the boat, it was time to do laundry. I also found a bit of time to clean the engine air filter, check the fluid level in the transmission and look (in vain, as it turns out) for the name-plate on the alternator; it is going to be tricky to buy a replacement (if that is what is needed) without this info. Dinner aboard and early to bed.
