It was chilly again this morning, so we lingered abed until the sun was well up and the cockpit had been warmed. After breakfast, we rowed ashore and walked around Turn Island. Then, it was time to head over to Friday Harbor for our appointment with San Juan Canvas, who are going to make us a new foam topper for our forepeak berth. We were tied up at Port of Friday Harbor Marina at 12:00 and Derek immediately arrived to make a pattern for the foam topper. Derek also gave me a quote for a Polycarbonate panel replacement for the center panel of our dodger, which is showing it’s age a bit. After he finished, we walked up to the Crabhouse for lunch, then did a bit of light shopping around town. We were going to visit the San Juan Museum of Art, but they are still showing the same (excellent) exhibition that we saw back in June, so we demurred. Back to the boat for showers and happy hour, then to Coho, where we hosted Rebecca G. (daughter of old friends of ours from the good old days in London, who happens to be working in Friday Harbor).
