We woke at 07:00 to a clear, cool morning, and got up to enjoy the early morning warmth in the solarium. I flew the drone around for a few minutes and then we got going about 10:15. As we departed Bottleneck Inlet, the wind was very light in Finlayson Channel. We worked our way south to Jackson Passage and turned east. When we got to the Jackson Narrows at 12:48, at mid-tide, there was only a little bit of current (2 kn max behind us), so we went on through with no issues. We had originally thought to stop for the night at Rescue Bay, which is just a half a mile east of the Jackson Narrows, but the weather was still fine and we were early enough that I realized we could make it to Perceval Narrows (at the south end of Mathieson Channel) at just about HW slack at 14:48, and then stop of the night at Oliver Cove, so we carried on. We got through Perceval Narrows right on time with no issues and anchored at Oliver Cove at 15:18. We did toy with the idea of going on to Shearwater tonight, but we would not have got in until nearly 18:00 and it would have been another long day, so we packed it in. We have not seen another boat at all, all day long. Until we got anchored, when we saw the dinghy from another boat that is anchored across the way at Boat Inlet. Shortly after that, a water taxi passed by headed north. We had a quiet evening after that.
