We slept in until 09:00, then lazed around all morning. The weather was overcast and grey, but at least it was not raining. John and Laurie rowed ashore to check out the water hose and look for a path, but could find no path. Then Laurie and Terri went for a row around the bay. After lunch, we moved over to Adventure Cove, just for a change of scenery. It is a pretty little bay, but it is full of 4 float houses and other floats (for fish farming operations?). We anchored as far in as we could and then went ashore to check our Fort Defiance. One can vaguely make out a formerly cleared patch, now much overgrown, but that is about it; no trail leading out to anywhere. Dinner aboard again; a reprise of last night’s meal. I finally finished reading “Krakatoa”, by Simon Winchester, and started reading “Personal”, a new (to me) Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child; it’s a real page-turner.
