We slept well last night; it was so quiet all night long (a pleasant change from the previous night) and I only got up once. Terri and I both woke up at 08:00 and fairly leapt out of bed. The cove was perfectly still and it was lower low tide, but there were no bears about, which was disappointing. Although it was overcast, it was still warm in the cockpit and the solar panel was already charging the batteries. Raven was talking to us again, but continue to have trouble understanding what he is saying. Maybe he is trying to explain the bizarre dream I had last night.  Yesterday’s varnish work has dried nicely. John needed to start his engine to recharge his batteries (his solar cell is not keeping up with demand; we were fine) at 09:20, so we decided to just get going. The anchor was aweigh at 09:50 (very muddy along the last 100 ft of chain), and we left W. White Pine Cove at10:01. Out in Herbert Inlet, we were able to pick up a cell signal for a few minutes and thus able to download a few e-mails and messages. Just as we turned into McKay Passage, we saw another sail boat headed south in Millar Channel, but they were not broadcasting an AIS, so I did not call them; they must have come from Bacchante Bay. The wind was very light from the south so we motored on up Millar Channel, through Sulfur Passage and into Bacchante Bay, where we anchored in the NW corner in 10 m of water at 12:24, with Massilia rafted alongside. After a quick lunch, we all loaded into the dinghies and rowed as fas as we could up the adjacent Watta Creek. We were stopped by minor rapids after a few hundred yards, but it was easy to believe that no-one had ever been up here before. After happy hour and dinner aboard, we played guitar a bit, then played Bananagrams until 22:00.
