I woke up at 03:00 and could not get back to sleep until 06:00, so was a bit slow getting out of bed this morning. About 09:45 a 1st Nations Guardian boat (Ken) stopped by for a courtesy visit. They monitor Ch. 86. It was cool with a very low overcast all day, although it did lighten up a bit later in the day. We got the anchor up just after 11:00 and motored over to W. Battle Bay, where we anchored at 12:02. After lunch, we rowed ashore to the beach for a quick stroll, then rowed up the Battle River as far as we could, about 0.4 N-m, then all the way to the east end of Battle Bay, although we did not find the reported fresh water stream at the campsite; frankly, we did not look very hard, as I did not want to haul a full jerry can of water very far.
