We awoke about 08:00 to a warm, dry, partly cloudy morning. After a leisurely breakfast, we got going just before 10:00. Only a few minutes after we left Clam Cove, we spotted a large Orca just 150 m from us headed right toward us on a reciprocal course, but he dove immediately before we could get a photo and we never saw him again. After that, it was a routine motor all the way to Sointula. Massilia got the spinnaker up for a while, but were unable to maintain our minimum speed, so we never bothered. We got to Sointula and tied up in the public dock at 15:15. We immediately went up and had our first hot shower in 10 days; bliss. Then, I filled the water tanks and did a quick hose down of the deck. Massilia showed up just before 17:00. I rode a bike into town to see if there were any places to get a bite to eat, but nothing is open in the evening, other than the Burger Barn, here at the dock. So, we ate at the Burger Barn; Terri had a deluxe burger and I had cod chips - lovely.
