We lazed around in the morning, although Luke and I tackled the in-line engine room blower fan. We ditched the relay, although I’m not convinced that it is not working, and replaced it with a toggle switch. The fan seems to work fine now. We left the dock about 14:30 and headed down the Vernon River and Ossabaw Sound to Wassaw I., arriving there about 17:15. Just as we got settled down, the long-awaited cool front arrived along with numerous thunderstorms. It initially looked like we would miss them all, but then they turned toward us and we had quite a show for about the next three hours. Fortunately, none of them hit any closer than a half mile or so.
