Another beautiful morning at Ingram’s, but today (for the first time since we came back out from Houston) we did not have to turn on the heater. After a pleasant morning watching the porpoises and pelicans, we left about 10:00 for an anchorage on the Big Lagoon, just north of Perdido Key. We first sailed (with the asymmetrical spinnaker) way up into Perdido Bay, anchored for lunch in Tarkiln Bay and then sailed back down Perdido Bay to continue on to our planned anchorage. We had an excellent sail - until we ran aground on a sand bank, which was sort of depressing. We did manage to motor off without too much trouble and then carried on into Big Lagoon. We are now officially in Florida. We anchored about 16:30 and had salmon for dinner.
