We got up and left just before high tide (at about 9:00) and made our way north along the ICW, crossing Altamaha Sound and entering the Little Mud River. It was windy - E15 - 20 - most of the time, so we sailed under full genoa most of the way to the entrance to Rockedundy River. We went about half a mile up the river and dropped anchor in the middle of a remote salt-grass marsh. We were all alone all afternoon until another sail boat came in about 20:00 and dropped anchor a few hundred yards from us. Nice and breezy all night long, so we were cool without the A/C. And, no mosquitos.
