Another cool, restful night at anchor. After breakfast, we got the anchor up - at 09:40 - and motored slowly down Potts Harbor. We passed to the east between Haskell Island and South Harpswell, crossed Merriconeag Sound and passed to the south of Bailey Island; then, turned NE toward Yarmouth Ledges, leaving Ragged Island to starboard and into Quahog Bay, leaving Yarmouth Island to starboard. Quahog Bay is a lovely anchorage and reminds us a lot of Squirrel Cove in Desolation Sound, BC. After lunch, we got the kayaks down again and went for a long paddle around the bay. After dark, one of the residents of the bay entertained us for a while with a personal fireworks display. 43-48.738’N, 69-54.266’W.
