Gorgeous dawn, no wind, flat calm water. So, we decided to run round the corner to Solomon’s Island, MD. The wind was light (and on the nose) so we motored all the way and arrived just after 13:00. We filled up with diesel then moved to a mooring ball at Zahniser’s Marina. The mooring fee includes the use of courtesy bikes, so we went for a ride around town. This is a serious boating center; lots of marinas and lots of boats in each marina. There are a few restaurants and bars, but typical beach resort stuff. But the weather is glorious. We had dinner aboard.
