Cinnamon buns beckoned from Loco Beanz, so I got up before 08:00 and got there in time to grab one of the last ones. As soon as I got back to the boat, we fired up the iron genny and motored over to Little Wally’s to pump out and fuel up. We were underway just after 09:00, headed west. By 11:00, the wind had got up enough that we killed the engine and sailed all the way to the entrance to Fox Harbour. We entered to find our Canadian buddies, Pierre and Suzanne from “Encore” waiting for us. We had the hook down with a shore line to a tree by 13:00. After lunch, the Admiral and I rowed around the harbour to check out the other boats and also made a brief foray ashore for more blueberries; they are ripe and plump now. Happy hour, followed by dinner and a very long chat on board “Encore” with Pierre, Suzanne, daughter Chantal, son-in-law Frank and 4 grandkids.
