The promised Katabatic wind never really developed last night, which is just as well. In the morning, the wind appeared to be light SW (perfect), although the marine forecast was E 10 - 20 (right on the nose - again - and kinda rough). But, it was clear and we decided to go on and head the 40 N-m to Riviere-au-Renard. We had a nice run along the coast until the last two hours, when the wind finally got up as predicted; we had SE 10 - 15, so no big deal really. We were tied up at the Club Nautique Forillon in Riviere-au-Renard by 14:30. Afterward, we went for a walk in town, but there is not much there. We stopped at the bar and had a beer and at the poisonnerie and bought some fresh caught salmon, then back to the boat for dinner aboard. “Meltemi” and “Sauvagees” (a Bayfield 36 from Sorel we met in Riviere-la-Madeleine) came in later. Another time-lapse video awaits:
