I slept like a rock last night, then sprung out of bed at the 07:55 alarm. We checked out of the marina and sailed with the tide at 10:10. As we cleared Departure Bay, the wind piped up nicely and it looked like we were in for a nice sail, even though it was going to be a beat to windward. But, after a couple of hours, the wind was down to less than 5 knots, so we motored the last 12 miles into French Creek, where we rafted next to the “Teeny Milly” fishing boat at 15:20, with “Massilia” alongside. Happy hour and dinner aboard.
