We tried to get up early, but sloth is too easy. Before noon, we moved down to the fuel dock and bought 60 L (15.8 gal) of diesel. The Grumman Goose landed about 13:30; aboard were Mike R. and girlfriend Julia (J1), along with Mike’s high school buddy Graham and his wife Karen. Graham and Karen are staying about “c’est le bon” during their 10 day visit. We got all the guests settled in, bought a few more essential supplies and got away from the dock just before 16:00. Within minutes, we were sailing north under jib alone and sailed all the way to Sandell Bay, where we anchored at 17:40. Graham dragged a lure and hook behind the boat most of the way, but had no nibbles. The boys fished after dinner, again without result. We fired up the guitars later and sang on until 23:00. “Argonaut” came into the bay about 19:00 and anchored nearby; not sure what they thought about the music, but they were gone by 08:30 the following morning.
