It was a quiet night in Heming Bay, although every little puff of wind moved the boat a few inches, which caused the anchor chain to drag loudly across the rocky bottom of the bay. After breakfast, we started to saddle up and to go for a walk over to Heming Lake, but we never quite got going and then, at noon, it was time to head for Blind Channel; we’ll leave that walk for another day. We motored north along Nodales Channel, then turned west in Cordero Channel between East Thurlow Island and the mainland, arriving at Blind Channel marina about 14:30. We bought 90 liters of diesel, then moved over to a slip for the night. After filling up the water tank and cleaning up the boat, we had a lovely dinner at the Cedar Post Inn.
