We had a most pleasant night, although it got a bit rolly about 05:00. Willis Allan Ramsay woke us with “Angel Eyes” at 08:00. After a nice al fresco breakfast, we dropped the mooring ball at 10:00 and sailed to Seattle, with only 3 tacks, and arrived at Bell Harbor Marina at about 12:30, pumping out the H/Ts on the way in. After lunch, we walked up to Whole Foods, bought a few groceries and then walked back to the boat via Ace Hardware (where I bought some parts - the wrong size, as it turns out - to improve the solar shower), arriving in time for Captain’s Hour and a wholesome dinner aboard. On the way home, I heard back from Woody. We will go into Anacortes for a couple of nights on 2 and 3 Aug, so he can install the solar panel control systems (and the panel, if it arrives in time). Then, we caught the bus to T-Mobile Park to watch the visiting Astros take on the Seattle Mariners. The Astros were up 6-0 by the time we got into the park at the end of the 1st inning, but somehow managed to lose the game 11-8. I sure hope they acquire a pitcher or two before the trade deadline. We rode the bus back to the marina.

Seattle wakes up somewhat earlier than we are accustomed to; the marina’s location is excellent - close to Pike Place Market and downtown - but the drawback to that proximity is that is starts getting loud about 06:00. After breakfast, the Admiral went up to tackle the laundry, only to find out that the marina does not have a laundry. So, walked back up to Ace Hardware to get the correct parts to improve the solar shower, only to find that they do not have the tubing size we need. Oh, well. After that, we did a quick grocery shop at Target and walked through Pike Place Market, where we bought a pound of fresh-caught, wild King Salmon and a couple of BBQ sandwiches for lunch. After lunch, the Admiral defrosted the freezer and I revarnished the oars for “Swallow”. We had a light dinner and then caught the bus to T-Mobile Park to watch game 2 of the Astros v Mariners 3-game series.  The Astros hung on to win this one, 8-6, although Abraham Toro, who the Astros traded to the Mariners today, hit a 2-run pinch-hit homer in the bottom of the 9th, to make it closer than one would have liked.
