We woke up with plans to depart Anacortes, but, as I have often stated, plans are a dangerous thing on a boat. We have been waiting for mail delivery from Houston, but we found out it is not going to be delivered until tomorrow, so we decided to stay put. I went round to four boat storage facilities on the east side of the island to see if there was any advantage to staying here rather than Skyline; more analysis of the data collected will be necessary to determine if a change is appropriate. The Admiral did a load of laundry and I decided to tackle my big electrical challenge; I figured out where to install the new 4-block electrical panel, got that installed and jumped to the original 12V panel; and, wonder of wonder, it works. So far, all that is hooked up is 2 double-USB ports, which is nice. I still have to pull multiple cables from the new panel to the anchor locker as well as back to the binnacle pedestal to complete the work, but we decided to leave that for another day. Tomorrow, we are definitely going to La Conner. We went back to the Island Cafe for dinner; Meghan was happy to see us one more time.
