We were a bit slow getting up this morning after yesterday afternoon’s libations, although I did rally at 07:00 long enough to snag a couple of Covid-19 test appointments on Saturday afternoon at a Walgreens in Kent, which is south of Sea-Tac; so, we are back on track for the assault on PLI, providing the weather works out and Laurie’s schedule permits and Dan and Emily don’t need our help. I also secured reservations at Point Roberts on Sunday evening and Fishermans Wharf in Vancouver on Monday and Tuesday evenings. We got going from Edmonds at 10:45, but the wind was very light, so we motored all the way to Langley, where we were tied up at 13:15. We hitched a ride up to town via the free shuttle service that the town now provides. We wandered around town for a while, picked up a couple of bargains and viewed the art galleries (no bargains there), but decided not to eat dinner in town, as we have food that needs to be consumed before we head back to Canada on Monday. I was absolutely still at sunset, and although the temperature dropped like a stone when the sun went down, it was still quite pleasant; a lovely evening.
