The shriek of the alarm jolted us out of bed at the ungodly hour of 07:00. After a quick breakfast and review of the weather forecast (light northerlies with a touch of early morning fog), we were away at 08:00 and into the Sunday morning rush hour of sport fishermen headed out to catch their limit. We dodged small fishing craft all the way past Elliot Point. The wind stayed light, so we motored all the way to Bell Harbor Marina in Seattle, where we tied up at our slip at 12:16. We busied ourselves tidying up the boat until Ashley’s flight landed at Sea-Tac, then we walked up to the Westlake Station to meet her as she got off the Link Light Rail service. After walking her back to the boat, we chatted and then went for an early dinner at Anthony’s, adjacent to the marina. I was still early and there was a nice breeze, so we took “c’est le bon” out for a pleasure sail around Elliot Bay, arriving back at the dock about 19:45. Ashley is still on Eastern time zone and had had a long day, so we all crashed early.

It was overcast and cool in the morning when we got up. Ashley had an on-line class to deal with early, so I had a second cup of coffee. About the time they got ready to go to the Chihuly Gallery, I decided the toilets had backed-up one time too often, so I set about tackling them, and, of course, it took me until 13:00 to everything put back together. I walked up and joined the girls for a late lunch in Pike Place Market, then we came back to the boat for showers and a bit of relaxation. Dinner aboard.
