We slept until nearly 08:00, not having far to go today. It was cool and misty when we got up. After a leisurely breakfast, we had the hook up by 09:15. We motored out of Buschmann Pass North at 09:30 and worked our way through Thompson Passage and out into the very northern part of Dixon Entrance E. The wind was light from the NW and the seas were non-existent, or quite small anyway. After listening to the forecast before we got to the turn in to Nichols Bay, which we reached at about 11:30, we decided to skip Nichols Bay and head on across the south end of Clarence Strait to Duke Island and the planned (for tomorrow) anchorage at Judd Harbor. The crossing of Clarence Strait was uneventful and we pulled into Judd Harbor and dropped anchor in 11 m WD at 16:20. After we were settled, I flew the drone around the anchorage for a bit and got some nice videos. We listened to the 16:00 weather forecast from Environment Canada and it looks like tomorrow is the best day to head for Prince Rupert, unless we want to wait until Sunday. So, I think we will go tomorrow. We cooked up the last of our meat, so hopefully the Canadian Customs will not confiscate it. It was a lovely, sunny evening. Nice, for our last night in Alaska - at least for this year.
