I woke up early (for me; 07:45); it was warm, with high overcast. While I was enjoying coffee in the cockpit, John advised that he was down to 9.7 volts overnight and would have to start the engine to recharge; I believe that this will be our routine every day from now until we reach Winter Harbour (and his replacement batteries) - sigh. Since John was fooling with his batteries, I got a bit more varnish scraped off the port side toe-rail, then decided to tackle the job of fitting snaps on the dodger to permit fixing the winter cover on it. That took until lunch time. After lunch, we got the hook up just after 13:00 and headed over to Greenhead Cove, a bit farther west in the Bunsby Islands, where we anchored 14:51 in 12 m of water. As soon as the hook was set, we hopped in the dinghy and had a good row around the anchorage and the surrounding lagoons. We got back to the boat just after 16:00 and I had a solar shower, foregoing the preceding swim, as, at 17.3 deg C, it is just a bit nippier that I like. Afterward, I fitted the winter dodger cover up to act as a late afternoon sun-screen.
