We were up at 07:00 (actually, I was up at 6:15, because my sciatica was playing up) to be ready for an 08:00 start for our run up the coast to San Josef Bay. The anchor was aweigh right on schedule and we motored down Browning Inlet into essentially calm winds and seas. The cell signal was strong at Kains Island, so we were able to talk to Ashley and collect all our emails and texts. We motored all the way to San Josef Bay, where we anchored in 5 m of water off the west beach at 12:33. Massilia arrived about an hour later, but we declined to let them raft, as the swell is working in here a bit and we are not stationary; we will all sleep better tonight with them on their own hook. After a quick lunch, we rowed ashore for a long walk on the beach and the rocks; cool beach. Terri and I rowed over to Massilia for Captains Hour and then came back to our boat for dinner. I rowed back for WX after dinner, but the Admiral did not feel like it so she stayed on board “c’est le bon”.
