After a very pleasant night’s sleep, we were up before 08:00 to be ready for an 08:45 departure to catch the ebb current down to Kyuquot (Walters Cove) and to be there in time for the store to open at 12:00; hopefully, full of fresh groceries from yesterday’s arrival of the Uchuk III. We had the anchor up 08:50 and were soon on our way, around the north end of Hohoae Island, through Markale Passage, and on down to Kyuquot, where we tied up to the government dock at 11:00. As soon as Massilia came in 15 minutes later, we walked up to the local coffee shop/restaurant Java the Hut, for lunch and their (very slow) internet. Then back to the store at the top of the dock for the 13:00 opening, where we cleaned them out of fresh produce, not that there was much, and a few frozen steaks and pork chops.  For dinner, we went back to Java the Hut and had a huge cheeseburger, in my case. Early to bed.
