We slept like logs last night and got up about 08:00. After polling all crew, we decided against a stay day here and got underway about 11:00 for Fair Harbour to see about fuel. We pulled into Fair Harbour at 12:25 and eventually bought 40 L of diesel and topped up the propane tank. We were also able to obtain some much-needed provisions: frozen blueberries, grapes, potato chips and tonic water. Then, we pulled out of Fair Harbour at 13:45 and motored and sailed back to Dixie Cove, where we anchored in the inner cove in 11 m of water at 15:00. The water was a warm 20.2 deg C, so we all went in for a swim, followed by piping hot solar showers. After dinner, we talked (mainly about the shocking state of the Texas power grid system) until 10:30, then went to bed.

We had a most pleasant night, listening to the wind occasionally pipe up. Morning was again beautiful and cloudless and warm. The morning was spent reading and enjoying the dry, calm warmth. After lunch, John and I each put the sailing rigs on our respective dinghies and sortied out of the cove into the inlet. I tried to circumnavigate Copp Island, but a foul wind kept me from sailing back into the cove, so I had to turn back and sail in the main entrance. After a refreshing swim and a nice warm solar shower, it was time for happy hour and dinner. We sat up and looked at the stars for a while after dark. It is one or two days before the new moon, so conditions were ideal.
