We were up early (for me). Immediately after breakfast, we drained the hot water tank and the forward water tank, completed the winterization of the whole drinking water system and the forward shower drain. Then, I made a quick run to West Marine to pick up some Damp-Rid pellets; we also picked up a couple of sandwiches for lunch. Back at the boat, it was nearly noon, so Terri helped me off the dock. Out in Padilla Bay, I emptied the bilge and pumped out the forward holding tank, then motored on down the Swinnomish Channel with the tidal current behind me. I topped up the fuel tank and was tied up at the dock at La Conner Marina at 14:00. Terri did another few loads of laundry, I finished winterizing the forward holding tank and emptied all of our stuff out of the boat. We checked into the Wild Iris Inn at 18:30 and, after a quick shower, immediately went down to town for dinner at the La Conner Seafood and Prime Rib Restaurant.
