We were up at 07:00 to be ready for our planned 08:00 departure. Propane tank #3 emptied during coffee-making, so I replaced it. It was raining when we got up and we finally got away from the dock about 08:25. We motored west all day in calm, but rainy conditions and pulled into Pacific Gateway Marina, in Port Renfrew, just before 15:00. In the late morning, a pod of 8-10 dolphins played around our bow for about 15 minutes; got some good video. John and Laurie came in about 45 minutes later. It is a pretty basic marina. We went up for dinner at the marina cafe, which closed at 17:00. John and Laurie joined us in the cockpit afterward for a natter. Then, early to bed again (to get warm and to be ready for the early off tomorrow).
