As we are planning to visit the Wooden Boat School on Tuesday (a bunch of wind-jammers are due in at the WBS on Tuesday evening, including the “Victory Chimes”, which will bring our friends Chris, Jill and Bernie), we took the opportunity to make a short run over to Deer Isle. We dropped the mooring and sailed most of the way to Pickering Cove, arriving before noon. After lunch, we took the dinghy ashore to hike around the Tennis Preserve. We are all alone in this anchorage. Back to the boat in time for cocktails and dinner. 44-12.195’N, 068-37.179’W.
