We were a bit slow getting up this morning, after last night’s “contraband reduction” efforts, but we had the anchor up by 09:00 and motored out of our last Canadian anchorage of the year. The winds were light all day long, so we motored all the way, although we did have a sail up as well most of the time. The trip was uneventful and we were tied up at Drummond Island Yacht Haven by 13:00. The Customs and Border Patrol agent checked us in within minutes and we were back in the USA. We borrowed the car and drove into “downtown” Drummond Island to get some groceries. Back at the marina, we were relaxing during happy hour when “Ra” glided into the fuel dock; we last saw them in April 2014 in Elizabeth City, NC. The boat, which is powered solely by solar panels and Torqueedo motors, has been modified from a true trimaran, with 22’ beam, to a narrow boat, with about 12’ beam.  We had dinner aboard and then were invited to post-prandials on the boat of another dock neighbor, “Prince Arthur”, with Rob and Jock from Gore Bay.
