We were a bit slow getting up this morning, after our long telecom with John and Laurie.  After breakfast, I determined that the sump pump for the aft A-C was kaput, so I went up to the boat store to see if they had one, and miraculously, they did - stroke of luck that. As I went to pay for my purchase, I realized that I had left my credit card in the YC last night after paying for dinner. Unfortunately, the staff don’t show up until 15:00 or so, so we had to wait. After replacing the sump pump, we did a bit of tidying up in preparation for the arrival this weekend of Matt (John and Laurie’s son) and his girlfriend, Julie, who are going to stay with us for 6 or 7 days. I finally got my credit card back at 15:30, and we were away from the dock within minutes; nice to get away from the marina. We motored up the Cumberland for a mile, took the canal between the Cumberland and the Tennessee, then went up the Tennessee for about 15 miles to Rhodes Bay, where we anchored at 17:55 (just 10 minutes before sunset) in 8 feet of water. We were all alone when we arrived, but a trawler pulled into the outer bay about half an hour after us. I had a quick dip in the lake (78F), but could not convince the Admiral to join me; cool and refreshing, but not painful. The fish were jumping all around the boat; no idea why the fishermen are not in here.
