We slept in and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast after last night’s reunion party. The back of the boat was practically covered by sticky, tar-like blobs of some kind of bug-poop. Never saw anything like it, but it was deuced hard to clean off. By 10:00 we were once again headed up-river to Pebble Isle Marina, where we tied up (having fueled-up and pumped-out) at 14:40. The Admiral and I headed almost immediately to Paris, TN in the courtesy van to pick up our rental car. We were back at the boat in time for happy hour with Bob and Diane. After dinner, we had another sing-along, once again staying at it until nearly midnight.

Fresh, hot cinnamon buns beckoned from the Blue Heron Grill, so we rallied early, for a long day of boat clean-up and provisioning before the arrival of our first set of guests. The Admiral re-jigged the cabins for guests while I cleaned the outside of the boat from top to bottom. Then, it was off to Walmart (not our first choice, but the only major grocery store within 20 miles, for a major re-provision. Not everything we needed or wanted was available, so we will have to top up in Nashville tomorrow. After doing laundry and showering, we went to the Blue Heron Grill for dinner and had Billy-Bob’s bar-b-qued ribs, which he had been smoking all day long, very nice, but a huge portion - I could only finish half of a half-rack. Afterward, we had another light session with Bob and Diane, but knocked off early at 21:30, so we would be in shape to get up early tomorrow for the drive to Nashville.
