After sleeping in till 08:00, we had a foggy breakfast, then we all rowed over for a chat with Max and Pat and a tour of “Nancy Lakin”. Then, we rowed into Chester and wandered around town for several hours, including lunch at the Rope Loft, very nice. Returning to the boat about 14:45, we immediately got underway on the scenic route to Mahone Bay (the town), zig-zagging through the islands and rocks of Mahone Bay (the body of water), past Indian Point, where Cheryl Barr, the author of “The Down East Loop”, lives. We picked up a mooring ball off the Mahone Bay town dock and rowed into town for a bit of window shopping. We had dinner at Mateus Bistro (very nice) and finally got back to the boat about 21:30.
