Quiet night at the marina and we slept like logs. After breakfast, we walked back into town for a quick look around and a light grocery shop. Back to the boat in time to get away from the dock just after 11:00. The wind was very light all day, so we motored down the remainder of the Swinomish Channel into Skagit Bay, then turned south into Saratoga Passage. We never had more than 3 or 4 kn of wind the whole way and were tied up at the dock at the Port of South Whidbey at 14:40. We were surprised to find that the adjacent town of Langley is a lovely, artisanal place with several nice restaurants and a theater (unfortunately, only open on Friday and Saturday nights); we will try to stop here on out way north. We had a very nice meal at Prima Bistro. The wind got up a bit in the late afternoon and early evening, so we were bouncing around a bit on the inside of the floating breakwater, but no big deal. We read in the cockpit until time for bed.
