It was another cold night, low in the mid-to-upper 40s, but the dawn arrived warm and mostly clear. After an al fresco breakfast, we got underway to Bucks Harbor, at the western end of Eggemoggin Reach. The wind was S - SSW 13-17 all the way across West and East Penobscot Bay, and we had the sails up immediately. It was a lovely sail on a broad reach all the way to Bucks Harbor, logging 19.5 N-m in just over 3 hours. We picked up a mooring ball from Bucks Harbor Marine at 13:30 After lunch, we rowed into town and went for a nice walk. Just in case you were wondering, the water is still too cold to go swimming: 53F.
