It clouded up overnight and started raining before we got up, although we were very comfortable at our mooring ball. The rain finally stopped about 09:00, so we decided to get underway the short distance to Evandale. We sailed off the mooring ball and all the way to Evandale with the wind behind us, starting the engine for only a few minutes to get into the dock, to which we tied up at 11:30. The Admiral immediately started the laundry and we ate lunch at the hotel restaurant. We spent the afternoon finishing off the laundry and using the hotel’s excellent internet to catch up on e-mails and download the latest updates of charts for the chart-plotter. I believe we will try to make it to Oromocto by Thursday evening so we can be settled in for Friday’s inevitable Canada Day celebrations. Dinner aboard.
